Non-Acidic Alloy Wheel Cleaner — Alkaline, High-Foam Brake-Dust Remover

Our Non-Acidic Alloy Wheel Cleaner is a high-alkaline, surfactant-rich solution that dissolves stubborn brake dust, traffic film and road grime without the etching risk associated with acid wheel cleaners. The fast-acting formula clings to vertical wheel surfaces, breaks down metallic and organic soils, and rinses clean to leave alloys bright and ready for protection.

Performance Highlights

Attribute Benefit
Alkaline, non-acid chemistry Targets iron-rich brake dust and oily traffic film without attacking clear-coat or painted wheel finishes.
High-foaming surfactant system Foam latches onto vertical spokes and barrels, extending dwell time for deeper cleaning.
Variable dilution rates Use neat or 1 : 4 for heavy contamination; dilute up to 1 : 10 for maintenance washes.
Colour-safe Formulated to be safe on painted, powder-coated and diamond-cut alloys when used as directed.
Non-hazardous for transport Ships under general goods regulations for simplified logistics.

Application Guidelines

  1. Pre-rinse the wheel to cool the surface and remove loose debris.
  2. Apply the cleaner using a foaming sprayer or trigger bottle at your chosen dilution.
  3. Dwell for 2–4 minutes; do not allow to dry. For baked-on deposits, agitate with a soft wheel brush.
  4. Rinse thoroughly with high-pressure water, ensuring all residues are removed.
  5. Repeat or reduce dilution on extremely contaminated wheels.

Packaging & Storage

Supplied in 1 L, 5 L, 25 L, 200 L and 1 000 L IBC containers.
Store upright, sealed, at 5–30 °C out of direct sunlight. Shelf life: 24 months from manufacture date.

Safety & Regulatory

Classified under UK-CLP as Skin Corrosive 1 (H314) and Eye Damage 1 (H318) — causes severe skin burns and eye damage.
Wear alkali-resistant gloves, goggles/face shield and protective clothing when handling concentrate or strong dilutions. Avoid breathing spray mist. In case of skin or eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention. Do not ingest; if swallowed, do not induce vomiting — contact a medical professional at once. Dispose of used solutions and empty containers in accordance with local regulations. Refer to the current Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for complete first-aid, spillage and disposal guidance.
